Your vote is needed!  This past week emails went out to all homeowners with information on how to vote for the new proposed CC&R’s.  Check your emails for the unique registration code needed to vote.  If you have questions or need any assistance with your vote, please contact Christian Brockl @ cbrockl@sentrymgt.com.  This is your most important vote for our HOA, as it concerns the rules and restrictions that govern our neighborhood.

The pools are open!  The pools opened Memorial Day weekend and will remain open through the end of Labor Day weekend. The lap pool will remain open through September. Enjoy our sunny days poolside or with a splash!

Be sure to refresh yourself on the pool rules here: 2025 Pool Rules. And don’t forget to bring your key card and ID to check in with security as usual. The guest limit remains at 4 people per household. But please note the earlier 9:00 p.m. closing time for all pools.

As part of our continuing upgrades, the lower rectangle pool has been replastered and the outdoor showers have been revamped. We encourage everyone to rinse off before getting into the pools to help keep the water clean.  One of the aging Rec Center AC units has also been replaced to help us keep the Rec Center cool this summer.

If your key card isn’t working you will need to contact Sentry Management at boise@sentrymgt.com or cbrockl@sentrymgt.com. Typical reasons for key card issues include a demagnetized card, overdue homeowners’ dues, or unresolved CC&R violations.

Mark your calendars for our summer BBQ on June 14th from 11 am to 2 pm. The HOA will have popcorn and will be grilling up some hot dogs for everyone and will have some prizes for the kids.  Come stop by and say “Hi” in front of the Rec Center. Slay the Snow will also be in the Rec Center parking lot as an added treat!

Our annual Community garage sale will be June 21st & 22nd. Please note that the date has changed. Start cleaning out your closets and garages in preparation. It’s a great time to get rid of items you no longer need and to find some fun treasures from your neighbors. We’ll be publicizing the event to get the word out!

You may have noticed the sagebrush reduction project along the Oregon trail. The City cleared out some of the sagebrush to create fire breaks and more defensible space.  Attached is some additional information for anyone interested.

Idaho power has also notified residents in the neighborhood that they will be continuing their work on replacing power poles through our neighborhood. Please respect any temporary trail closures from their work and report any damage to our trails to Sentry.

Our own Firewise Committee has implemented a timing change of our desert belt mowing schedule.  The dessert belt area was mowed in early May and will again be mowed in mid July. This change is intended to stop the grasses going to seed, which will in turn reduce the amount of potential fire fuel.

Our next monthly Board meeting will be on June 17th.  The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. with a homeowner forum to provide homeowners an opportunity to address any matters with the Board and share your thoughts and ideas.
