Goathead Weed Pulling Session
Saturday, July 31st, 2021, 7am to 9am at Asphalt path between Trail Wind and Les Bois
Goat heads, also known as puncture vines, are an invasive species that can produce up to 5,000 thorned seeds on single plant. Columbia Village has a bumper crop of goat heads this year. If you are tired of finding these nasty thorns in your bicycle and stroller tires, pet paws, and shoes, please join our community's volunteer group led by one of our homeowners for a Goathead Weed Pulling Session on July 31 from 7:00-9:00AM.

What: Columbia Village Goathead Weed Pulling Session.
When: Saturday, July 31 at 7:00-9:00AM
Where: Asphalt path between Trail Wind Elementary and Les Bois Jr. High. (on the side furthest from the disc golf course)
What to Bring: Gardening gloves (to protects fingers from thorns), and dandelion pulling tool (to get at those tap roots), and a bottle of water (to stay hydrated).

Garbage bags will be provided.
