August/September CVOA Updates
Posted on Sep 9th, 2024
It was great seeing many of you at National Night Out. We all had a fun evening and were able to connect with our neighbors, police, and firefighters, and shop our neighborhood vendors. We have a wonderful community to celebrate!
Coming together and watching out for our portion of the neighborhood really does help improve our community. Boise Police Department has recently shared a success story of concerned neighbors working with their Neighborhood Contact Officer (NCO) that led to arrests. You can read the full story here. If you have any concerns about our neighborhood, you can contact our assigned NCO through this link: https://www.cityofboise.org/departments/police/specialty-positions/neighborhood-contact-officer/.
We hope you were all able to enjoy the last days of the general swimming season despite the wildfire smoke. The pools are closed for general swimming as of September 3rd. The lap pool will remain open until September 30th. This season we were able to complete significant improvements to the operating equipment for the pools that will keep our pools running more efficiently. As we work to create a plan for further improvements, please let us know what future improvements you would like to see.
We do need to issue a correction from our last newsletter regarding recreational vehicle parking: The correct CC&R reference is section 5.16 and there is no change to our CC&R’s. We apologize for any confusion from the previous newsletter.
If you are looking for a place to park your recreational vehicle, our CVOA RV lot has several openings. Management is currently working through contacting those on the waitlist. If you are on the waitlist, or would like to get on the waitlist for a space, please contact Charles Degenhardt at cdegenhardt@sentrymgt.com to help expedite the process.
As usual, we would like to remind everyone to please keep up your weekly yard maintenance and weed management, continue to report any broken sprinkler heads or broken tree branches, and continue to submit your ACC requests for your home projects. Reports, ACC requests, and any other communications can be sent to Charles Degenhardt at cdegenhardt@sentrymgt.com.
Our next monthly Board meeting will be September 17th. The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. with a homeowner forum to provide homeowners an opportunity to address any matters with the Board and share your thoughts and ideas.
