Happy Fall, Columbia Village! Your CVOA Board of Directors has many updates and items to share with you and we hope this newsletter helps you all stay well informed and up to speed! 

First, our CC&R Review Committee is going strong and we all appreciate the feedback and survey replies we are seeing from our community. Hopefully, you have received the postcard in the mail with the QR code linking you to our website. We encourage all homeowners to log into www.cvoa.net to provide us with information as we move forward in this very important project. We will be taking replies until Dec. 31st after which your CVOA attorney will begin a draft of new, simplified and consolidated documents regarding our by-laws and CC&Rs. Our goal is to have a draft for all homeowners by the annual meeting in March. 

Next, after much deliberation and budget review, your CVOA Board of Directors has determined it necessary to increase dues $10 per quarter, raising the cost to $140 quarterly, or $560 annually. This change is vital to not only maintain our community, but to continue to repair the 30 year old infrastructure that is in desperate need of updates and replacements. 

Our next event is the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. Come do an "almost 5K" with your family and friends with hot cocoa, snacks and a gnome hunt throughout our great neighborhood. Meet us at the rec. center from 9:30-11 a.m. with your running shoes and warm layers on! December 2nd will be our annual Visit with Santa with local artisan vendors. Details to come!

Also, with the ending of the year, it is time once again for us to seek applications for three new board members for the CVOA Board of Directors. The application can be found at https://forms.gle/Zpm1rDq9XUcvp1da9 and will be open until January 15th. Last year we had an excellent mix of candidates and we are hoping to get just as much interest, if not more, this year. Please consider joining us in this great effort to maintain and improve our community. Click the link to the Google form above to throw your hat into the ring!
