NNO and CVOA Neighborhood Update
Posted on Jul 27th, 2023

Happy Summer, Columbia Village! It's another hot one, but we hope you are staying cool and enjoying all the fun our community has to offer! We wanted to let you know about some exciting activities and provide you with some updates. Read on!!

First, we are so excited about our upcoming National Night Out on Tuesday, August 1st. Join us from 5-8 pm for fire trucks, food trucks, vendor and artisan booths and live music! Food trucks include Mad Mac, Coned Pizza, Rusty Dog and Kona Ice! The WCA, Healthy Foundations, and Idaho Medical Academy will have booths as well as multiple artisan vendors. The Boise Fire Department will also be there! Come on down for the neighborhood block party of the year!

Second, we wanted to give you a heads up on the weight room we've all been anxiously awaiting! Repairs should be getting started in the next couple of days and we are hoping to have it up and running roughly a week from the time the contractor starts. Stay tuned and we will do our best to keep you in the loop. Thank you so much for your patience!

We hope you are continuing to enjoy the pool and surrounding amenities! Thank you for bringing your ID and proof of address when you come with your families and friends. We have had some issues with teenagers and pre-teens trespassing and causing damage and this requirement has allowed us to keep these issues at a minimum and to keep repair costs down, while allowing more homeowners to use the facilities they pay for.

Finally, we know many of you each summer have watering and sprinkler questions. We kindly ask that you continue to email our property manager, Charles Degenhardt at with those concerns. We also ask that you do not try to turn on and off any parts of the system or adjust them in any way. We are having to pay for repairs due to homeowners trying to alter or adjust things themselves and that hurts all of us in the long run.

We hope to see you all at National Night Out next week! Have a wonderful weekend and stay cool!

Your CVOA Board of Directors
