Happy Spring, Neighbors!
First, we want to remind everyone that our annual trail cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, May 6th from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Meet us at the Rec. Center to kick things off. We will have water, snacks, garbage bags, and maps for everyone. We hope to see you there supporting this effort to clean up our trails. A little help goes a long way, and this is a great activity for the whole family. Meet back at the Rec. Center with your garbage bag when you are done and get your name placed in a drawing for a $50 gift card as a thank you for participating.
As the weather tries to warm up, I’m sure many of you are looking forward to pool season and wondering about the status of the waterfall pool. The repair work on the pool continues and is currently scheduled to be completed in May. We are hopeful that there will be no further delays, weather or otherwise, and are looking forward to opening the pools on time.
We ask residents to please treat our amenities with respect and to report any misuse or damage to communitycare@sentrymgt.com. When reporting misuse of our amenities, please note the day, time and location so that management can cross reference our security cameras. Repairs are currently underway to fix the broken bathroom doors, the noisy stationary bicycle, and the volleyball court. Vandalism and misuse of equipment cost all homeowners valuable time, funds and resources, so please talk to your families about helping us take care of our facilities.
You may have noticed that spring pruning and cleaning has commenced in our common areas. We are so grateful for the extra rain and snow we've received and because we have had such a cold and wet start to our spring, we have been able to delay turning on the sprinklers, which helps us all save water and money. As the weather warms, you'll start to see them come on. Please report any broken sprinklers or landscaping issues to the Community Care email address above along with the location and a photo, if possible. This helps the landscapers identify and fix the problem.
As you start your own home spring projects, remember to submit your ACC requests in advance. The request forms can be found online at www.cvoa.net/homeowner-forms/. You will want to plan ahead and allow up to 45 days for approval of your requests.
Everyone is always welcome to attend our board meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the Pioneer Room at the Rec Center. The meetings start at 6:00 pm, and there is a homeowner forum at 7:00 pm for homeowners to share their thoughts or concerns with the board. Please contact Charles Degenhardt at cdegenhardt@sentrymgt.com if you would like to be included on the next agenda. In the meantime, don’t hesitate to send any emails regarding billing, maintenance or other general questions to communitycare@sentrymgt.com.
We are all grateful for your kindness and support! Have a wonderful week!
Sincerely,
Your CVOA Board of Directors
