March CVOA Neighborhood Update
Posted on Mar 31st, 2022

Greetings Neighbors!

Here is a quick note to keep you up to date on what has been going on in our beautiful neighborhood over the last few weeks! We all hope this finds you healthy, happy and enjoying the gorgeous sunshine!

At the beginning of March, we held our Annual Meeting at the Rec. Center. We had good attendance, but would love to see and hear from more of you! At the meeting we discussed all of the committee activities including amenity and landscaping improvements, our treasurer report and updates to our ACC regulations. Please note that all of these committees welcome resident members! We'd love to have more of our community join us. It's not all serious business! We love to have fun too! You can find more information about serving on a committee, or even serving on the board next year, on our website, at www.cvoa.net

After the Annual Meeting, we held our first monthly Board Meeting with our brand new Board Members. We are excited to welcome Anita Ralstin, Dennis Abrahmsahn, and Evan Robertson. Anita and Dennis will be serving a full three year term while Evan will serve for one year to complete the term of a vacating member. Likewise, a new year calls for new officers. First, we'd like to thank the 2021 officers for their time and dedication to the neighborhood: Chuck Mione, President; Tara Davis, Vice President; Caitlin Reicks, Secretary and Tim Egbert, Treasurer. For 2022 the following will serve as officers for your CVOA Board: Tara Davis, President; Rachel Sutherland, Vice President; Anita Ralstin, Secretary; Chuck Mione, Treasurer.

Speaking of having fun, mark your calendars for April 30th for our annual Trail Clean Up! Details will be coming soon! It's a fantastic opportunity for families to serve their friends and neighbors!

Finally, we've included a couple of links for you from your Neighborhood Watch Coordinator, Bonnie Straight, to prepare yourself and your homes for spring. They include tips on recycling and yard maintenance to keep your home and yards safe and gorgeous. Also, please see the link regarding solicitors in the neighborhood. It has excellent tips to help you prevent burglary and uninvited visitors.

Now get out and enjoy this wonderful weather!

Sincerely,
Columbia Village Owners Association Board of Directors
